1. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, password (stored scrambled), phone if you give it.
  • Purchases: what you bought, when, the amount and the delivery address if a product needs one. Card details are handled by Paystack; we never see or store your card number.
  • Creator verification: BVN or NIN, date of birth, selfie, photo ID, proof of address and business documents. These are encrypted and seen only by our compliance team.
  • Payouts: bank name, account number and account name.
  • Reading and learning: where you stopped in a book or course, so you can continue on any device.
  • Technical: IP address and device information used for security, fraud prevention and the 3-device limit.

2. Why we use it (lawful basis)

To provide the service you asked for (contract), to meet our legal duties such as anti-fraud and record keeping (legal obligation), to keep the platform secure (legitimate interest), and with your consent where we ask for it (for example identity checks and optional emails).

3. Who we share it with

Paystack (payments and payouts), our email provider, our video host for courses (Bunny), identity-check providers when used, and authorities when the law requires. Creators see the name, email, phone and delivery address of people who buy from them, so they can serve their buyers. We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

[Retention periods to be confirmed by our lawyer, including for verification documents and financial records.]
